A “Green” Probiotic!

Each capsule of Plantadophilus possesses a culture count of over two billion colony-forming units of the plant-source probiotic Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (aka Lactobacillus plantarum, or just l. plantarum for short). Plantadophilus is a gentle yet highly effective, well tolerated, time tested probiotic formula.

Don’t probiotics come from yogurt?

Not this one! Dairy free, gluten free, and soy free with no fillers, Plantadophilus is a non-allergenic product in a vegetarian capsule. In this case, the “Lacto” in Lactobacillus indicates lactic acid, not lactose. It’s an acid “loving” microorganism that prefers a pH of 6.5 to 6.8. That means these natural, plant-based microorganisms are GI stable, heat stable, and double their population in less than five minutes, making Plantadophilus stronger and more stable than many acidophilus products on the market.

Why do we need probiotics?

The beneficial bacteria known as probiotics play a vital role in detoxifying the body, helping to balance the pH and maintain a healthy intestinal environment. Experience a happier, cleaner gut. They can be taken when there’s occasional constipation, occasional diarrhea, or excess gas as well as occasional digestive discomfort and bloating during meals.*

Do kids need probiotics?

The short answer is YES. Even if your child is eating the healthiest of foods, they may still experience occasional constipation, occasional diarrhea, bloating during meals, and excess gas. Transformation’s plant based Plantadophilus formula is the perfect introduction to these “friendly” bacteria. Studies have shown that this strain is especially great for kids with its proven ability to gently support immune health, digestive health, and regular elimination.* That’s why it’s a key part of our new Thrive in 63 for Kids program.

How many should you take?

Take three Plantadophilus capsules at bedtime or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take with adequate liquid. Vegetable two-piece capsules may be pulled apart and ingredients mixed with food. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Consult your physician for use with younger children.

Do probiotics require refrigeration?
